TOKYO, April 3, 2014 - Pasona N A, Inc. will recruit companies interested in participating in the 6th Annual Asian MBA (AMBA) Leadership Conference & Career Exposition which will take place in October at New York. Pasona N A will provide hiring support to participating companies.
The number of Japanese companies operating overseas is 19,250 companies, a 15% increase in the last five years as of March 2013. Expansion into Asian countries has increased 21%. (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry 42nd Basic Survey of Overseas Business and Activities) Therefore, there is growing demand at Japanese companies bolstering its global business for professionals including those with language skills, knowledge in corporate management and experience living abroad.
The Company will recruit and support Japanese companies in Japan and the United States wishing to participate in AMBA. AMBA is the largest job fair targeting Pan-Asian professionals in USA that provides career development seminars as well as networking sessions and an opportunity to meet with recruiters from around the world. Last year, over 2,500 job seekers participated (51% MBA graduate, 26% Masters graduate) and 68 global companies conducted corporate seminars and interviews aiming to hire qualified candidates.
Pasona N A will support Japanese companies communicate with the event's organizers as well as operate on the day of the event and HR services upon hiring new employees.
Through this service, the Company hopes to provide cross border HR services as well as career support for those hoping for a global career.
