TOKYO, April 4, 2014 - Pasona Taiwan Co., Ltd. will conduct a job fair, JOB-Haku, which will take place on Saturday, April 12th at Taipei. The job fair is aimed for students in Taiwan looking to work at Japanese companies. The event will provide students an opportunity to meet with recruiters as well as attend skill-up seminars.
The number of people studying Japanese in Taiwan is 233,417; 5th most popular in the world following the most country, China, followed by Indonesia, Korea, Australia. (The Japan Foundation, Survey Report on Japanese-Language Education Abroad 2012) Also, Japanese companies are expanding their global business which is creating demand for hiring personnel who can bridge the company's Japan headquarters with Taiwan's operations or bolster sales in Taiwan.
At the JOB-Haku which will be held on Saturday, April 12th, Pasona Taiwan's career consultants will give individual career counseling. Also, approximately thirty companies looking to hire global personnel will provide a business overview and networking sessions. The job fair will also provide seminars on how to write resumes and conduct better interviews for job-seekers. JOB-Haku is the largest job fair in Taiwan that targets local students wishing to work at Japanese companies.
