TOKYO, May 28, 2014 - From June 1st, Pasona Education Co. Limited will add two courses, High School Course and Diversity Management Course to its Pasona Global Edge, a program offering training in Hong Kong to foster global personnel.
In Japan, measures to enhance multicultural education for high school students are being taken by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. The government has appointed schools to foster global leaders as Super Global High School.
At the same time, more managers working at Japanese companies are facing situations in which they need to manage multi-cultural teams. This is due to the increase in foreign staffs in Japan as well as the expansion of Japanese companies' global business.
The new High School Course and Diversity Management Course of Pasona Global Edge will aim to address the aforementioned needs.
Hong Kong is an international finance center and not only is it an English speaking city close to Japan but also a gateway to China's market. The two new courses Pasona Education will start will include fieldwork and interactive activities to enhance the participants' English skill as well as provide opportunities to meet with local university professors and business persons to exchange ideas. The program will aim to foster young global minds and corporate managers gain global management skills utilizing Hong Kong's international environment.
