TOKYO, April 8, 2013 - Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. will partner with Nanyang Technological University (hereinafter NTU) and will begin its Internship Matching Service, a service which introduces NTU students internship opportunities at mainly Japanese companies in Singapore.
In Singapore, it is common for college students to intern at companies in order to gain business experience. At the same time, companies widely use internships in order to prevent mismatches in hiring.
NTU ranks 47th among universities in the world, has the highest percentage of college graduates who found work in Singapore, and excellent students across the globe gather to study at its renowned Science and Engineering programs.
The Internship Matching Service that Pasona Singapore will commence aims not only to create internship opportunities for NTU students but also alleviate companies’ internship related operations through outsourcing. According to the company’s needs, Pasona Singapore will coordinate with NTU and announce internship posts, recruit and screen applicants as well as support the interns and companies throughout the internship. The service also aims to allow NTU to enhance career support services to its students by allowing Pasona Singapore to act as a mediator between students and companies.
