TOKYO, August 9, 2013 - Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. will hold a training seminar “Cultivating Multicultural Team Management Skills Seminar ? Workshop and Creating Your Own Theory-“, on Friday, August 23rd for mainly Japanese expat employees working at Japanese companies in Singapore. The seminar aims to strengthen skills required to manage employees with diverse ethnicity and values.

The seminar will introduce communication skills that will bolster teamwork as well as how to set goals and evaluate employees with different cultural backgrounds. Also, group discussions will be conducted so that participants get a firsthand experience on management.

Pasona Singapore hopes to foster managers at Japanese companies who are able to work at the global level; a job position with a growing demand due to Japanese companies globalizing its operations.

Communication -Phrases local employees dislike -Communication that works -Feedback techniques -Communication that brings out ideas (techniques and phrase examples) 3. Managing Multicultural Teams -Group work: Agreeing on a conclusion to achieve a goal under a fixed period of time with members of different background, status and priorities 4. Creating Your Own Theory -Formulating your own theory on management and presenting guidelines for your own workplace
