TOKYO, September 29, 2017-
Pasona India Private Limited, which provides personnel placement and employment consulting in India, will partner with educational foundation, NTTF India. From October, both parties will cooperate to provide job support to students mainly in the mechanical and technical engineering fields with career consulting and information on job openings of Japanese companies operating in India.
At the India-Japan Annual Summit held in September, the Prime Ministers focused on mutual cooperation in the construction of the high-speed rail, civil nuclear issues and skill development. Hiring qualified engineers is one of the challenges Japanese companies face in India. Both countries along with the private sector are keen on fostering engineers who have mastered the Japanese way of manufacturing.
Pasona India and NTTF India formed an academic-industrial alliance to provide the school’s 18,000 students with job openings of Japanese companies as well as career consulting that will benefit to build a career particularly at a Japanese company. Pasona India will provide NTTF India with information regarding what kind of personnel (skills, experience, etc.) Japanese companies are looking to hire. This will aim to bolster the rate of employment for the school’s students.
By bridging schools in India with Japanese companies, as well as supporting young engineers acquire Japanese manufacturing skills such as “Kaizen” or the “5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)”, the Company aims to foster future engineer leaders.
