TOKYO, October 23, 2014- Pasona Tech, Inc. will conduct a career event in Tokyo on Saturday, October 25th targeting foreign students in Japan studying science, technology and engineering. Japanese companies looking to hire the aforementioned students will also participate.
Many science major students studying in Japan from abroad have interest in careers at Japanese companies which are known for its top class manufacturing technology in the world. These students are highly valued by companies since they have experience living in Japan and are accustomed to Japanese culture as well as the language which in turn results to better retention at the company. However, many students unwillingly go back to their home country since the hiring practices of Japanese companies and ways in which newly graduates find jobs is highly unique in Japan.
Pasona Tech's job fair will aim to bridge these students with companies eager to hire foreign science, technology and engineering students who are in high demand. At the event, companies will give presentations about their company as well as communicate directly with the students. Also, experts from Pasona Tech will give students advice on landing jobs in Japan as well as matters concerning visas.
